Curtidos Hijos de Victorino Sánchez, a tradition which commenced in 1905
Our journey began in a small artisan leather tanning workshop in Villarramiel, Palencia. The tradition was initiated by a tanner with passion for this millenary craft and whose aim was to offer high-quality leather for a wide range of uses.
From the beginning, the tannery stood out for its commitment to environmental responsibility, becoming a local benchmark in leather production.
Expansion and consolidation
During this period, new technological advances were embraced which allowed the expansion of the operation, increasing production capacity and the refinement of products quality.
Curtidos Hijos de Victorino Sánchez began supplying not only the wider region but also other parts of Spain, as well as, reaching international markets.
Fourth generation in charge
During this time, the company was successful adapting to fast changes in the leather industry and to market demands, while retaining its identity: high-end artisan quality.

Fifth generation and commitment to sustainability
We are now the fifth generation in the business still located in Tierra de Campos. The family-based company remains focused on producing high quality artisan leather while adapting to modern demands such as sustainability and environmental impact reduction.
Over the years, we have evolved to incorporate more eco-friendly technologies and responsible tanning processes that reduce chemical use and are aligned with global market trends.
